Can we join another tour group?
No, that is not possible. All our tours are private and each one is individually arranged for groups of people who know each other and are traveling together.
What is the advantage of a private tour?
On a private tour you are not sharing your tour with others outside your group, which gives you much more flexibility and freedom. You can change your plans at short notice, start the day when you wish, linger in a place you are enjoying or decide at the last minute to skip a location. Each Brehon Tours private group is accompanied by an Irish driver/guide with vast experience and a huge knowledge of Ireland, whose expertise and assistance is available to them alone throughout their stay.
Is it possible to add a visit to a place not in one of your itineraries?
Yes, if it is feasible from a time and distance point of view we can add any location to an existing itinerary. Just mention this when you contact us about booking your tour and we will discuss your options with you.
Your tours are expensive compared to some others I have seen. Why is this?
These are not budget tours, they are intended for sophisticated travelers, very often busy people, who want absolute reliability, the convenience of handing all organisation over to an experienced tour operator and the reassurance that every aspect of their tour will be planned in minute detail and delivered to the highest standard possible.
In addition to accommodation in superior rooms in the very best hotels, transport in Mercedes vehicles and the services throughout your tour of a very experienced Irish guide, our prices include entrance to all visitor centres, evening entertainments, day time leisure options and many meals, all of them in excellent restaurants. Not many tours include such a wide range of options in their quoted prices.
On a Brehon Tour, when you get to Ireland the only thing you have to do is relax and enjoy yourself!
